Product Certification & Testing

What documents should you require from the factory?

Direct answer

At minimum, I would request: technical data sheet; safety data sheet; composition ranges under NDA; raw-material traceability; bamboo fiber percentage; processing recommendations; test reports with sample identification; relevant certification documents; certificate scope and expiration; finished-product performance data; quality-control plan; batch numbering system; aging and storage data; restricted-substance screening; product liability and recall procedures. I would also ask whether the data applies to the resin, film, or final bag.

A thick folder of documents is not enough if the reports cannot be linked to the exact commercial formulation being purchased.
