The long-term idea is not to define the brand by one end-of-life claim. Compostability is useful in certain waste streams, especially where organics collection and suitable processing exist. It is not the correct solution for every package or every market.
The broader platform is intended to combine:
- renewable fiber inputs;
- application-specific polymer systems;
- product performance;
- material transparency;
- responsible end-of-life communication.
That allows different products to use different solutions rather than forcing every bag into the same "compostable" category.
