At the same time, higher bamboo fiber content can introduce engineering challenges.

Film must withstand stretch, puncture, drop, load, and heat-seal stress at very thin gauges. If formulation, dispersion, and process control are inadequate as fiber content rises, you may see:

  • Reduced elongation at break;
  • Film brittleness;
  • Narrower heat-seal window;
  • Higher surface roughness;
  • Reduced print consistency;
